This role involves maintaining accurate financial records, supporting accounts payable and receivable processes, and assisting with reconciliations and month-end close activities in a fast-paced, multi-site healthcare environment. It requires high organization, attention to detail, and the ability to handle high-volume transactions independently in a remote setting.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in QuickBooks Online, including recording and categorizing transactions across multiple entities.
- Process and record vendor invoices, track due dates, and ensure timely payments while maintaining vendor records.
- Record incoming payments, refunds, and adjustments, and assist in tracking outstanding receivables.
- Assist with bank and credit card reconciliations, support month-end close, and help with audit preparation.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred; relevant certification is a plus.
- 2-3 years of bookkeeping or accounting support experience, with at least 2 years hands-on with QuickBooks Online.
- Strong understanding of accounts payable, receivable, and reconciliations; experience with US-based companies preferred.
- High attention to detail, organizational skills, ability to manage priorities, and comfort working independently remotely.
- Strong communication skills; experience in healthcare or multi-location organizations is a plus.
