Full Stack Developer

Job Overview

This role involves developing and maintaining a Product Information Management (PIM) system using Pimcore, focusing on backend logic with PHP and Symfony, while optionally supporting frontend tasks. You’ll collaborate with various departments to ensure data quality and integrate systems like shops and ERPs.

Responsibilities

• Further development and maintenance of the PIM system based on Pimcore
• Development and adaptation of backend logic in PHP (Symfony Framework)
• Modeling and maintenance of complex product data structures
• Integration and connection of interfaces (e.g., to shops, ERPs, or third-party systems)
• Ensuring data quality and consistent data management
• Support for automating data processes
• Close collaboration with specialist departments (e.g., e-commerce, procurement, marketing)
• Optional: Support for frontend-related topics (e.g., data visualization or UI adjustments)

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in software development
• Good knowledge of PHP and ideally Symfony
• Experience with Pimcore or comparable PIM/CMS systems
• Secure handling of data structures, data modeling, and SQL
• Understanding of interfaces (REST, APIs)
• Structured and data-driven way of working
• Experience collaborating with various specialist departments
• German language skills at least at C1 level
• Nice to have: Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Nice to have: Experience with Angular
• Nice to have: Experience in e-commerce environment
• Nice to have: Knowledge in handling large data volumes or product data
