Head of Engineering

Job Overview

Lead the engineering organization responsible for end-to-end financial infrastructure, including payments orchestration, wallets, general ledger, treasury systems, billing, reconciliation, and compliance. This role intersects engineering, product, finance, and compliance, driving global scale and IPO-grade standards.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute technical strategy for financial infrastructure, building scalable, modular architecture across payments, ledger, treasury, and compliance.
• Drive evolution toward real-time, event-driven financial systems.
• Partner with Product, Finance, Treasury, and Compliance to deliver business outcomes.
• Embed product thinking into engineering culture.
• Drive clarity on priorities for what gets built, why, and in what order.
• Design systems for high transaction volumes, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and scalability.

Qualifications

• Experience leading engineering teams in fintech or financial infrastructure.
• Strong background in payments, ledger systems, treasury, and compliance technologies.
• Ability to partner across engineering, product, finance, and compliance functions.
• Expertise in building scalable, real-time financial systems.
