Lead UI Developer

Responsibilities
- Develop modern and fast single-page Angular applications addressing unique business challenges.
- Write well-structured, high-quality code adhering to web development best practices.
- Make independent design and coding decisions for Angular projects based on industry standards.
- Implement AI-driven development practices like automated code generation and AI-assisted debugging.
- Perform code and design reviews ensuring adherence to TDD and clean code architecture.
- Partner with UX Designers, Product Managers, and Backend Engineers to translate wireframes into reusable component libraries.
- Work with complex business integrations, elicit requirements, and implement UI in an agile team.
- Contribute to software solutions evolution meeting client requirements.
- Deliver functional prototypes, reusable UI components, advanced scripting, and application UIs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or similar.
- Minimum 10 years of experience as a UI Developer.
- 5-8 years developing Angular applications.
- 5+ years building sophisticated, responsive UIs using Angular, TypeScript, RxJS, and modern front-end patterns.
- 5+ years of experience in AI-driven development in the Software Development Lifecycle.
- 6+ years with UI testing frameworks, writing unit tests using Jasmine and Karma.
- Preferred: 6+ years with AWS or Azure cloud platforms.
- Preferred: 5+ years utilizing AI tools like Cursor or Claude Code for production-ready software.
- Preferred: 5+ years designing and integrating API contracts.
- Preferred: 5+ years building data-driven application architecture.
- Preferred: 2+ years working knowledge with NoSQL implementations.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, SDLC practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, strong documentation and communication skills.
- Self-managed with ownership of deliverables, analytical problem-solving, and coordination between IT and business stakeholders.
- Working knowledge of RDBMS SQL; clinical healthcare or lab systems experience preferred.
