Mid-Level Fullstack Developer

Join a self-organized domain team focused on managing events in a proprietary system and configuring online shops for ticketing software. Work in agile sprints using TypeScript (Node.js), NestJS for backend, React for frontend, and AWS for scalable microservices infrastructure. The team consists of 7 members including a tech lead and product owner, part of a larger 30-person IT and product group in an innovative ticketing company.
Responsibilities
- Support the team in ongoing development and new implementation for creating, validating, and sending event tickets.
- Design and develop new features from requirements analysis to implementation.
- Balance visionary ideas with optimal software architecture in a solution-oriented, pragmatic, and economic way.
- Handle process monitoring with a focus on scalability.
- Perform some operations (DevOps) in collaboration with administrators, following the ‘you build it, you run it’ principle.
Qualifications
- Experience working in agile, self-organized teams with personal responsibility.
- Knowledge of distributed systems.
- Full-stack expertise from frontend to backend, infrastructure, and databases.
- Several years of professional experience with Node.js and JavaScript (ideally TypeScript).
- Understanding of clean architectures and interfaces.
- Proficiency in unit testing and using Git for team collaboration.
- Curiosity and willingness to learn new programming languages, technologies, and methods.
- Fluent English and good German (at least B2 level).
- Experience with Domain-Driven Design (DDD) or AWS is a plus.
