Job Overview

Join a cross-functional team in Motors, Real Estate, OLX Classifieds, or Platforms, working remotely from Poland. Collaborate with engineers, SREs, and product teams to build scalable, high-impact solutions. Report to an Engineering Manager who supports growth and impact. Use Golang and Kotlin to modernize systems from legacy PHP towards a microservices architecture, deploying through GitLab CI/CD to AWS. Passionate about solving technical challenges and scaling cloud systems.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop scalable solutions.
• Modernize legacy systems and transition to microservices architecture.
• Deploy applications using GitLab CI/CD to AWS.
• Build, debug, optimize, and automate high-quality code.
• Ensure ownership of built systems, including running and maintaining them.
• Document technical specifications and processes clearly.

Qualifications

• Product-minded engineering approach with user perspective.
• Deep knowledge of programming languages, frameworks, best practices, data structures, algorithms, and software architecture for cloud-based systems.
• Strong background in Golang, Java/Kotlin, or PHP; flexible with changing technologies.
• Problem-solving skills using analytical thinking and creativity.
• Effective communication of technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases (MySQL, DynamoDB, Redis, Memcached).
• Strong understanding of AWS cloud architecture.
