Senior Full Stack Developer

Job Overview

Develop Shopify apps for over 3,500 Shopify merchants, focusing on planning, architecture, and full-stack implementation using modern technologies to create performant, scalable e-commerce solutions.

Responsibilities

• Plan, architect, and develop Shopify apps, plugins, and API integrations.
• Perform full-stack development with frontend technologies (React, Next.js) and backend (Node.js, Express, TypeScript).
• Integrate third-party systems via REST and GraphQL interfaces.
• Ensure performance, code quality, and scalability.
• Implement responsive and accessible UI components.
• Conduct code reviews, testing (unit, integration, E2E), and debugging.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with design, product, and QA teams to build products from the ground up.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of full-stack development experience.
• Proficiency with TypeScript, React (Next.js), and Node.js (Express).
• Knowledge of databases (SQL/NoSQL), Git, Docker, and CI/CD.
• Strong understanding of API design, security (OAuth), and performance.
• Ideal experience with Shopify (Plus), Polaris, webhooks, and GraphQL.
• Structured work approach, responsibility, and fluent German (good English).
