Senior Salesforce Engineer

Job Overview

This role involves owning the architecture and development of a managed Salesforce package for an insurance quoting platform. Responsibilities include writing Apex code, building Lightning Web Components, designing integrations, and making architectural decisions impacting multiple customer organizations. It’s a hands-on position focused on coding, code reviews, and collaborative enhancements.

Responsibilities

• Develop modern Salesforce solutions using Apex and Lightning Web Components
• Own the full SDLC of the managed package
• Integrate products into the Salesforce ecosystem
• Use CI/CD to ship iterative improvements safely
• Write comprehensive unit tests and maintain backwards compatibility
• Work collaboratively with customers and stakeholders to identify and implement enhancements
• Troubleshoot production issues and optimize system performance across customer organizations

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on Salesforce development experience in production enterprise environments
• Salesforce certifications (Platform Developer I/II) preferred but not required
• Managed package development in a multi-org deployment environment
• Expert-level Apex proficiency
• Advanced Lightning Web Component development
• Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data modeling, and security model
• Experience with Salesforce DX, Git, and modern development tools
• Experience building bidirectional data integrations between Salesforce and other systems
• Experience with Financial Services Cloud preferred but not required
