Job Overview

Lead the development of geospatial big-data analytics and insights for HD Maps products, focusing on deploying GIS algorithmic stages into scalable cloud applications using platforms like AWS and Spark. Collaborate with R&D, engineering, and business teams to integrate solutions into mapping products and align with customer needs across automotive and non-automotive sectors.

Responsibilities

• Lead initiation, design, and building of product roadmap for algorithmic stages in cloud applications.
• Code and develop algorithmic stages using Python, SQL, AWS, and Spark, ensuring scalability.
• Collaborate with R&D teams to integrate analytics into mapping products.
• Work with engineering teams to align development with strategic objectives.
• Engage with customers and OEMs in EU, US, Japan, China, and suppliers like Tier 1 companies.
• Collaborate with business development to align roadmap with market trends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Data Science, GIS, or related field.
• Proficiency in Python or similar for data analysis and cloud development.
• Experience deploying GIS algorithms in scalable cloud apps, preferably AWS and Spark.
• Understanding of geospatial data concepts and tools like GeoJSON, PostGIS, QGIS.
• Familiarity with data visualization libraries such as Matplotlib, Plotly, D3.js.
• Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
