Responsibilities
- Define and drive backend architecture for AI governance systems, including auditability, policy enforcement, and enterprise reporting.
- Design the AI audit event system, covering event schema, pipelines, storage, retention, and export features.
- Build and guide integrations between the AI agent platform and governance capabilities to observe and control agent actions.
- Guide technical design for tool and registry governance, including metadata models, permissions, and controls.
- Define backend foundations for a declarative policy framework to govern agents and tools under specific conditions.
- Drive architectural consistency by reviewing merge requests and contributing to technical RFCs.
- Strengthen team effectiveness and technical practices.
Qualifications
- Experience in backend architecture, particularly for systems involving AI, compliance, and auditability.
- Strong skills in designing scalable systems for event handling, policy enforcement, and integrations.
- Ability to write and review design proposals, influence cross-team efforts, and ensure consistent implementation.
- Partnership with engineering teams on AI and platform features.
