Associate Technical Consultant

Job Overview

Provide technical support for TAVI therapy in operating rooms, facilitate adoption of innovative technologies, and help clinicians use Medtronic products effectively during procedures. Build and maintain relationships with clinical stakeholders and collaborate on partnership projects within the Structural Heart Operating Unit, focusing on transcatheter treatments for heart valve diseases.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and specialist support in the operating room for correct use of products.
• Participate in presentations, conferences, and meetings to support sales and inform physicians about products while building relationships.
• Train and update physicians, hospital staff, and others on Medtronic products.
• Support post-marketing activities.
• Build relationships with sales colleagues to deliver clear product messages to physicians.
• Provide immediate technical support upon request, sharing clinical data to demonstrate product effectiveness.
• Manage critical issues on products, consulting with headquarters as needed.
• Analyze the market, develop, and implement strategies for therapy development with manager support.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Biomedical Engineering or other scientific subjects.
• Knowledge of medical devices.
• Availability for daily travel within assigned territory (Lombardy, Piemonte, and Liguria) and frequent national travel.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Teamwork abilities.
