Cybersecurity Analyst

Job Overview

This role involves operating and strengthening the security of a global SaaS platform and cloud technology environment. You will monitor threats, operate security controls, track vulnerabilities, and support incident response while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance risk management and security resilience in a fast-moving remote organization.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and triage security alerts, logs, and system activity to identify potential threats.
• Support investigation and response to security events, escalating high-risk incidents.
• Operate and maintain endpoint protection, identity security, vulnerability tracking, and monitoring tools.
• Manage identity and device security controls, including secure onboarding and offboarding.
• Track and prioritize vulnerabilities, coordinate remediation with engineering teams.
• Improve security monitoring capabilities, alert visibility, and detection.
• Assist with incident response activities, including triage, investigation, containment, and documentation.
• Maintain documentation of security processes, configurations, and records.
• Collaborate with engineering, infrastructure, and operations teams to promote secure practices.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in cybersecurity, security operations, or technical IT roles.
• Practical knowledge of endpoint security, identity management, or security monitoring concepts.
• Experience working with cloud platforms and SaaS-based environments.
• Familiarity with vulnerability management practices and security risk concepts.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Ability to investigate technical issues and follow structured response procedures.
