Job Overview

This role involves designing, building, and maintaining interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau and Power BI to meet business needs. The position emphasizes data visualization, performance optimization, and collaboration with stakeholders to deliver meaningful visual products through data storytelling. It is a full-time remote opportunity focused on ensuring data integrity and user experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports in Tableau and Power BI, adhering to visual best practices.
• Optimize dashboards for performance, user experience, and accuracy; refresh, update, and validate datasets regularly.
• Use built-in AI features in visualization tools to enhance data preparation, visuals, and automated insights; leverage natural-language queries for exploratory analysis.
• Collaborate with data teams to prepare datasets, troubleshoot data pipelines, and gather reporting requirements.
• Provide insights through data storytelling, support ad-hoc analysis, document changes, and perform QA on dashboards and data.
• Maintain documentation, version control, and change logs for reporting assets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience as a Data Analyst or BI Analyst.
• Strong expertise in Tableau and Power BI, including advanced visualization techniques and visual best practices.
• Basic familiarity with AI-assisted analytics features in Power BI or Tableau.
• Knowledge of SQL; strong understanding of data structures, data modeling, relational databases, and ETL concepts.
• Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills; experience with large or complex data.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP); familiarity with Python or R for data analysis.
• Knowledge of governance practices and experience in Agile environments.
