Senior AI Workflow Engineer

Job Overview

Design, build, and operationalize AI-enabled workflows to enhance efficiency, scalability, and outcomes in a healthcare environment. Support business leaders across various divisions by integrating AI with enterprise systems.

Responsibilities

• Partner with security and legal teams to ensure AI solutions comply with healthcare regulations like HIPAA and internal policies.
• Conduct analysis to define business requirements and translate challenges into workflow designs.
• Architect and deploy AI-enabled workflows integrating internal systems, APIs, and third-party platforms, including LLM agents and retrieval pipelines.
• Present solutions to stakeholders, lead training sessions, and evangelize AI adoption.
• Contribute to AI playbooks, establish telemetry for performance, drift, and cost, and troubleshoot issues to improve efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM or related field, or equivalent experience; Master’s or PhD preferred.
• 4+ years of software engineering experience, including automation pipelines.
• Strong proficiency in Python and experience with cloud platforms, APIs, orchestration, and integration patterns.
• Experience with Generative AI, LLM integration, or agent frameworks.
• Advanced proficiency in Python and AI/ML libraries; deep experience with LLMs, NLP, and GenAI frameworks like LangChain, HuggingFace, LlamaIndex.
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills; business acumen to translate priorities into technical requirements.
