Responsibilities
- Investigate and manage bodily injury and associated property damage claims of moderate to high complexity.
- Deliver superior customer service through strong verbal and written communication.
- Interview insureds, claimants, and witnesses.
- Evaluate coverage and determine liability.
- Partner with appraisers and estimators to coordinate and manage vehicle repairs.
- Establish timely and appropriate claim reserves in accordance with company reserving philosophy.
- Negotiate settlements with claimants, customers, and other insurance carriers.
- Demonstrate strong analytical skills, sound judgement, and owner mindset.
- Maintain proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ensure all work aligns with the mission, values, and direction of the company.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Experience as an auto claims representative, including bodily injury handling.
- Litigation handling experience preferred.
- AIC or CPCU designation (or equivalent insurance coursework) preferred.
- Ability to obtain licenses in the required states.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
