Quality Assurance Lead

Job Overview

Lead and manage the QA and testing team to ensure high-quality software delivery in an agile environment, focusing on complex manufacturing processes within environmental, health, safety, and sustainability software.

Responsibilities

• Guide, coordinate, and coach the QA & Test team in day-to-day operations.
• Review requirements for complex manufacturing processes.
• Create test cases systematically using test analysis techniques, including functional, non-functional, and integration test cases.
• Execute test cases, analyze results, and perform thorough regression testing.
• Implement automated testing and testing procedures.
• Identify error sources, report defects, and communicate quality risks, gaps, or issues.
• Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely feedback.

Qualifications

• Experience as a QA Lead, comfortable with all parts of an agile development process.
• Ability to work independently and with a team, easily grasping new, complex topics.
• ISTQB Foundation certification preferable but not mandatory.
• Experience in functional and integration testing in an agile environment, ideally with test automation.
• Understanding of C#/.Net, Python, XML, and SQL.
• Accuracy, thoroughness, attention to detail, and commitment to improving quality.
• Excellent communication skills: clear, concise, empathetic, and unambiguous.
• Fluent in English, team player with a strong work ethic, can-do attitude, and growth mindset.
• Follows industry news, tinkers with new technologies, and continuously learns.
