Senior Manager, Product and AI Policy

Job Overview

Partner closely with product and business teams to support strategic objectives by identifying policy vulnerabilities and designing global policies that ensure a high-quality experience. Enable business and product teams to innovate confidently with policy frameworks, particularly for AI-powered initiatives, while protecting the community and shaping user experiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead policy development for new and existing product areas, including AI-powered features, by drafting clear and scalable policy frameworks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across Product, Business, Supply, Design, Communications, Operations, Public Policy, and Legal.
• Foster, build, and maintain relationships with leadership of internal business verticals as a trusted policy partner.
• Guide policy operationalization efforts in partnership with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Support product and AI feature launches with risk mitigation guidance and policy deliverables.
• Proactively use data, research, and community insights to evaluate existing policies and identify improvements.

Qualifications

• Seasoned Product Policy leader with experience solving complex problems and strong cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience working with business and product teams to deliver policy solutions that enable business goals.
• Deep experience developing AI policy, including supporting AI features in consumer products, and fluency in the evolving AI policy landscape.
• Excellent communicator with exceptional writing skills and experience engaging leadership, including senior executives.
• Principled, rigorous approach incorporating diverse perspectives, and proactively data-driven in identifying policy gaps.
• Knowledgeable in creating and implementing policies, with a background in business and commercial policy issues.
• Team player who thrives in fast-moving environments with a strategic mindset.
