Job Overview

Lead the cloud team in administering, designing, maintaining, analyzing, and troubleshooting core systems including cloud, virtualization, servers, storage, networks, endpoints, and directory services. Ensure compliance with security standards and manage migrations to Azure while providing technical leadership and support.

Responsibilities

  • Design and administer IaaS, SaaS, and PaaS network infrastructure.
  • Deploy and support cloud and on-premise server-based operating systems.
  • Educate teams on new cloud technologies and initiatives.
  • Manage migration and modernization of workloads from on-premise to Azure.
  • Manage and monitor endpoint management systems like Intune and SCCM.
  • Maintain standards and process documents.
  • Assist with cost and risk models for cloud or on-premise solutions.
  • Develop business continuity and disaster recovery plans with cloud integration.
  • Provide troubleshooting and support for network and server performance.
  • Offer on-call technical support and resolve escalated cloud issues.
  • Stay updated on cloud technologies and secure infrastructure.
  • Mentor IT staff and provide technical leadership.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of Azure architecture, migration, and related technologies.
  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field, preferred.
  • 10+ years in IT infrastructure, with at least 5 years in Azure.
  • Knowledge of endpoint, API management, and identity management.
  • Understanding of cloud and on-premise components including servers, storage, networks, data, and applications.
  • Experience with Azure CLI, PowerShell, Azure Portal, Windows Server, and IT automation tools like Ansible.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities with root cause analysis.
  • Ability to work independently or in a team with minimal supervision.
  • Self-motivated, adept at technical documentation, and able to prioritize in high-pressure environments.
  • Strong customer service orientation and team-oriented experience.
