Job Overview

This role involves participating in a customer support team as an interface between customers and the team, communicating requirements and issues in production meetings, and working closely with engineering for complex issue investigations and solutions. Responsibilities include commissioning new machine installations, troubleshooting circuits and mechanical assemblies, system reconfigurations, reading schematic drawings, handling stock and faulty parts, and monitoring customer projects.

Responsibilities

  • Act as an interface between customers and the support team, communicating requirements and issues in production meetings.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to investigate complex issues and implement solutions.
  • Commission new machine installations at customer sites.
  • Troubleshoot circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies.
  • Reconfigure systems and change components according to customer requests.
  • Read and interpret schematic electrical and mechanical drawings.
  • Handle stock purge and rework or return of faulty parts.
  • Monitor and track major customer projects as necessary.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering.
  • 3-5 years of work experience.
  • Prior experience with front-end semiconductor equipment or related products highly preferred.
  • Ability to comprehend mechanical and schematic diagrams.
  • Ability to handle simple reworks within client’s premises.
  • Willingness to commit to overtime and 24/7 standby for 2 weeks per month.
