Student Customer Support Specialist

Job Overview

This part-time role involves providing telephone-based customer support for a digital platform focused on funeral planning and care, working remotely 12-20 hours per week to assist customers with empathy and transparency in sensitive situations.

Responsibilities

• Provide telephone consultation and support to customers
• Handle, respond to, and process inquiries via phone and email
• Enter and maintain customer and contact data in CRM systems
• Obtain and document offers from partner companies
• Collaborate closely with the internal team in daily operations

Qualifications

• Current university studies, e.g., in humanities, media, or communication sciences or equivalent
• Serious, empathetic, and friendly demeanor on the phone
• Excellent communication skills and high social competence
• Confident handling of digital tools and solid PC skills
• Very good German language skills in spoken and written form
• Independent, structured, and reliable work style in a home office
