IT Infrastructure Consultant

Job Overview

This role involves providing expert IT infrastructure consulting services, focusing on storage, virtualization, and backup solutions for enterprise clients. Responsibilities include project conception and implementation, both remotely and on-site, as well as supporting customer selection and operation of datacenter and cloud infrastructures.

Responsibilities

• Conceive and implement infrastructure projects, particularly in storage, virtualization, and backup, both remotely and on-site at customer locations.
• Assist customers in selecting, introducing, and operating datacenter infrastructure, private, and hybrid cloud solutions.
• Support sales team through presentations and customer workshops.

Qualifications

• Completed degree in IT or comparable training.
• Solid knowledge in specifying and designing storage solutions (DELL/EMC).
• Strong knowledge in virtualization (VMWare) and backup (Veeam).
• Experience in executing infrastructure projects.
• Certification(s) in DELL/EMC (vxRail, Unity).
• Project experience with enterprise and datacenter networking solutions.
• Secure command of common network standards (switching and routing).
• Confident demeanor, independence, teamwork, flexibility, and willingness to travel.
• Excellent German skills in spoken and written form, as well as good English knowledge.
