Lead Account Technology Strategist

The Account Technology Strategist aligns technologies with customer business objectives, fosters innovation, and promotes adoption of Citrix technologies. This role involves working closely with Enterprise customers to understand their needs, guide them in using Citrix solutions to achieve goals, and provide technical expertise throughout the customer lifecycle. Reporting to the regional leader, the position requires travel up to 60% and is based in the United Kingdom.
Responsibilities
- Understand and leverage industry trends and insights to assess Citrix products’ potential for customer needs.
- Provide technical expertise for the Citrix Platform across the customer lifecycle and achieve trusted advisor status.
- Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations remotely or at customer sites.
- Orchestrate cross-functional resources to meet customer needs and build complex proof-of-concept solutions.
- Manage professional networks with key decision-makers, engage at technical and executive levels, and proactively develop customer initiatives.
- Serve as an external spokesperson for Citrix’s vision, maintain account intelligence, and assist in overcoming technical objections.
Qualifications
- Deep understanding of Citrix’s competitive domain, including end user compute, desktop as a service, virtual desktop infrastructure, application delivery, and zero trust network access.
- Experience managing customer or partner stakeholders, prioritizing workload, and operating in fast-paced environments.
- Ability to diffuse technical or political situations and quickly learn new products.
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude, excellent oral and written communication skills, and flexibility for travel.
- Knowledge of Telecommunications, Media, Technology, or ISV organizations is beneficial.
- Proficiency in maintaining accurate records and completing administrative activities in systems like CRM.
