Job Overview

Serve as a strategic partner for high-growth tech startups, developing IP strategies at the intersection of hardware and software to protect innovations and drive business valuation.

Responsibilities

• Develop IP strategies for leading tech startups
• Work with startup founders, product owners, and engineers to protect key innovations
• Manage the IP portfolio of startups and coordinate external attorneys

Qualifications

• Fully qualified patent attorney (US, EPO and/or Germany)
• Significant experience in semiconductors, physics, and electronics
• Professional fluency in German and English
• Thrive in fast-paced startup environments; pragmatic, proactive, and able to explain complex legal concepts to non-lawyers
• Uncompromising attention to detail while maintaining focus on big picture business objectives
• Strong communication skills
