Job Overview

This remote inbound customer service role involves handling claims in the auto insurance sector, focusing on resolving customer enquiries and improving care processes. Work hours are typically 8:00 to 5:00 p.m. PST, with candidates required to reside in CST, MST, or PST time zones.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor business processes to identify opportunities for customer care improvements.
  • Handle first and third-party claims, resolving enquiries from customers and external contacts to ensure customer-focused service.
  • Recommend alternative sources or courses of action for efficient day-to-day customer service.
  • Receive, investigate, and respond to technical queries from customers and colleagues to provide appropriate advice.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent and 2 or more years of experience in Customer Service, or Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including an associate degree with no prior experience required.
  • Experience in auto industry areas such as service repair, auto technology, or parts department.
  • 18 or more months of contact center experience preferred.
  • Insurance industry knowledge preferred.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills preferred.
