Job Overview

Operate and maintain VMware virtualization environments in high-security data centers, ensuring smooth platform operations for customers and the organization. Involves lifecycle management, troubleshooting, and automation in a team handling Infrastructure as a Service.

Responsibilities

• Operate VMware environments including VMware Aria Suite components and products like VMware Cloud Director, VMware NSX-T, VMware vSAN, and VMware Avi Load Balancer.
• Perform regular lifecycle management (updates and upgrades) of VMware environments.
• Conduct troubleshooting and error resolution using VMware Aria Suite products in hotline and shift operations at 2nd and 3rd level support.
• Automate recurring tasks.
• Independently handle ticket processing in tools like OTRS and ServiceNow.

Qualifications

• Solid knowledge in operating medium to large VMware environments.
• Good knowledge of VMware Aria Suite components.
• Ideally good knowledge of NSX-T and vSAN.
• Very good German and English skills in spoken and written form.
• Strong communication and team skills.
• Flexibility and independence in work approach.
