Video Editor and Motion Designer

Job Overview

We’re looking for a sharp, fast Video Editor / Motion Designer who can turn scripts + raw assets into clean, modern, scroll-stopping videos, including AI avatar-led content. You’ll edit short-form social videos, explainers, combining avatar footage with UI screens, captions, motion graphics, b-roll, and brand styling.

Responsibilities

• Generating custom AI avatar videos (talking-head) for product explainers, ads, and social content
• Short-form edits (Reels/Shorts/TikTok/LinkedIn) and long-form (YouTube-style)
• Motion graphics: Marketing, Product launches, Demo videos, etc.
• Generating Voice over for the demo videos, marketing videos, etc.
• On-screen captions (clean, readable, strong pacing)
• Sound design: SFX, music beds, audio cleanup, leveling
• Thumbnail creation for the videos
• Working from brand guidelines, templates, and repeatable formats

Qualifications

• Strong video editing skills with tight pacing and high retention instincts
• Motion design capability (text animation, callouts, basic compositing)
• Prior experience in generating custom AI avatar videos (Synthesia / HeyGen / D-ID / similar)
• Experience in generating voice overs (Elevenlabs, etc.)
• Comfortable integrating screen recordings/product UI into edits
• Strong captioning workflow and typography taste
• Thumbnail creation
• Reliable file management and handoff (organized project files, naming, exports)
