Job Overview

Support the sales team by acquiring new B2B customers in the cybersecurity sector within the DACH region. Expand the sales territory, build long-term customer relationships, and manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract closure. This full-time role (40 hours/week) involves reporting to the DACH Sales Unit Lead and collaborating with presales, marketing, and partners.

Responsibilities

  • Actively acquire new customers in cybersecurity and expand the sales territory (North+East or South).
  • Build and develop a strong sales pipeline through targeted lead generation, networking, and customer outreach.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle independently, from initial contact to needs analysis, consulting, and successful contract closure.
  • Position cybersecurity solutions as critical value for companies’ security strategies.
  • Conduct compelling product presentations, workshops, and consultations, both remotely and on-site.
  • Build reliable relationships with CISOs, IT leaders, security managers, and decision-makers.
  • Collaborate closely with presales, marketing, and partners to turn complex security needs into successful deals.
  • Represent the company at industry events, security conferences, and trade shows to generate new business opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Several years of experience in B2B sales of complex solutions, ideally in cybersecurity, IT, or software.
  • Proven success in new customer acquisition and building sales pipelines.
  • Strong hunter mindset with proactive approach to identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Understanding of IT security requirements, compliance topics, and modern security architectures.
  • Experience selling complex solutions such as security, software, SaaS, or cloud products.
  • Structured, goal-oriented work style with strong closing abilities.
  • Confident handling of CRM systems and modern sales tools for managing opportunities and forecasts.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills at decision-maker level.
  • Very good German skills and good English skills for international collaboration.
  • Willingness to travel within the DACH region to meet customers and build relationships.
