Job Overview

Communicate with company driver applicants through all stages of the onboarding process to recruit, select, and hire qualified individuals for employment. The role is remote but requires residence in specific states (UT, TX, CO, WY, NM) to attend local job fairs, with up to 25% travel within North America.

Responsibilities

  • Source and qualify candidates for various driving roles nationwide.
  • Reach out to candidates via emails, phone calls, and text messaging to engage drivers.
  • Clearly communicate job responsibilities, company culture, and serve as the conduit between quality driver candidates and operational needs.
  • Ask probing questions to either eliminate or move forward with candidates.
  • Summarize key benefits and value propositions.
  • Update the ATS (Tenstreet) to reflect current candidate information, including notes, interviews, and data from third-party records (MVR, Background Information, etc.).
  • Attend hiring events and work at offsite locations for special projects/events or start-ups.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree or 1 to 2 years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Experience with the Tenstreet Application Management System is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of the transportation industry, DOT Regulations, and Federal Regulations pertaining to hiring practices.
  • Must be an experienced Driver Recruiter (CDL A) and bilingual in English/Spanish.
