Camp Services Supervisor

Job Overview

This fixed-term role involves overseeing camp accommodation, catering, and associated services across multiple operational camps in a remote mining environment. The position ensures safe, efficient, and compliant service delivery while managing resources and workforce wellbeing on a 29/13 rotation for six months.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day camp services operations, ensuring consistent standards of accommodation, catering, hygiene, and amenities.
• Coordinate staffing, resources, and service delivery between camps to meet operational requirements.
• Oversee catering operations, including food safety, hygiene, menu planning, storage, preparation, and service.
• Maintain accommodation, offices, communal areas, ablutions, and recreational facilities in clean, safe condition.
• Manage housekeeping, laundry, linen, and cleaning services per approved schedules and standards.
• Coordinate room allocations and occupancy management.
• Ensure camp grounds and recreational facilities are maintained through inspections and reporting.
• Manage assets, inventories, and consumables, including stock control and stocktakes.
• Prepare weekly and monthly operational reports.
• Supervise, mentor, and support camp services personnel, including mobilisation, demobilisation, and induction.
• Liaise with Logistics and Maintenance for supplies, equipment, and support.

Qualifications

• Experience in camp services supervision within a remote operating environment, preferably in mining.
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and catering standards.
• Skills in resource management, staff supervision, and operational reporting.
• Ability to balance competing demands and ensure compliance in a challenging environment.
