Job Overview

Lead the development and execution of capture strategies for defense-related opportunities, driving business development processes in collaboration with executives and architects. Focus on securing new and re-compete contracts through win theme development, competitive assessments, and teaming strategies. This role involves shaping opportunities, managing capture pursuits, and fostering relationships to increase win probability while supporting a culture of collaboration and accountability.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute capture strategies for assigned opportunities to secure contracts.
  • Lead win strategy development, including themes, solutions, competitive assessments, shaping, teaming, Price-to-Win, pricing, and bid/no-bid recommendations.
  • Manage capture pursuits, track performance to cost and schedule, and communicate status to leadership.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external customers and partners.
  • Shape opportunities throughout the lifecycle to enhance win probability.
  • Establish teaming strategies and competitive pricing for profitable returns.
  • Develop marketing strategies and input into market account plans aligned with company goals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 5+ years of experience in Capture/Business Development with a track record of leading opportunities over $100M.
  • Strong background in IT Services, Lifecycle SW development, Cloud, Cyber solutions, and defense mission support.
  • Experience with corporate investment and procurement processes.
  • Skills in strategic thinking, problem-solving, and leading cross-functional teams through collaboration.
  • US Citizenship required; Secret Clearance to start, ability to obtain Top Secret.
