Job Overview

This role involves editorial work for a specialized blog in the insurance and finance sector, creating engaging content for professionals. You’ll support authors, conduct research and interviews, develop ideas, and contribute to multimedia formats and social media, while using AI tools as aids.

Responsibilities

• Support specialist authors from the broker scene, guiding them from topic ideas to publication, ensuring content quality in language, substance, and tone.
• Conduct journalistic work including research, articles, and interviews with industry professionals.
• Collaborate on video, audio, or other multimedia formats if interested.
• Cover industry or company events on-site, capturing stories and supporting social media.
• Develop editorial ideas, identify community-relevant topics, and contribute impulses.
• Work on publications and projects for clients in insurance and finance.
• Adapt content for platforms like LinkedIn and Facebook, assisting in implementation.
• Use AI tools like ChatGPT or Claude as supportive aids for editorial work.

Qualifications

• Journalistic professional experience in editorial, agency, publishing, or corporate communications.
• Completed degree in journalism, communication, German studies, business administration, or similar, and/or a traineeship or equivalent training.
• Strong writing skills to adapt tone for different target groups and engage audiences.
• Affinity for social media, with willingness to learn and support the team.
• Curiosity and initiative, proactively pursuing topics.
