Director of Strategic Partnerships

Job Overview

This role involves partnering and engaging with senior leadership, physician partners, ambulatory surgery center leadership, and internal support teams to drive strategic initiatives. It reports to the VP of Corporate Development with a dotted line to the CEO, focusing on healthcare partnerships and business development.

Responsibilities

• Establish credibility, trust, and support with internal and external stakeholders.
• Work across functions to meet deliverables and timelines.
• Prioritize tasks and exercise judgment in high-stakes environments.
• Evaluate new business models, market initiatives, and expansion opportunities.
• Analyze data for quantitative analyses to support decision-making.
• Support creation and execution of annual operating plans and strategic initiatives.
• Communicate effectively with senior leaders and translate complex financial data for physicians and administrators.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in a healthcare field required; Master’s degree strongly preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in healthcare, specifically ambulatory surgery centers or physician services.
• Knowledge of physician practice acquisitions, joint ventures, ASC development, operations, and/or Anesthesia/MD services.
• Experience in strategy, business development, M&A, strategic planning, or strategic marketing is a plus.
• Outstanding interpersonal, analytical, and negotiation skills.
• Strong business and financial acumen with critical and strategic thinking.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and mobile devices.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.
