Job Overview

This role involves working closely with the founding team to test, analyze, and improve go-to-market activities in a fast-growing startup focused on AI systems. You will explore ways to acquire new customers and enhance existing processes without taking on a traditional sales role, gaining insights into growth, sales, and decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Understand and test go-to-market activities, including lead generation, outreach, appointment setting, and initial sales steps.
  • Validate hypotheses by planning and conducting small tests and experiments, such as new channels, messaging, or processes, to identify what works.
  • Analyze key metrics like cost per lead, appointment rates, conversation quality, and conversion to evaluate effort and benefits realistically.
  • Observe and improve existing processes, such as appointment setting, handovers, and follow-ups, by suggesting efficiency enhancements.
  • Collaborate closely with the go-to-market team, including sales, marketing, and customer success, to influence decisions with observations and analyses.
  • Gain practical insights into early growth phases and how go-to-market decisions are made, adapted, or discarded.

Qualifications

  • Enrolled student in business administration, entrepreneurship, business informatics, or related fields.
  • Experience through internships or working student positions in go-to-market, sales, or marketing.
  • Affinity for artificial intelligence, particularly autonomous AI systems, and understanding of product management or related disciplines like R&D or innovation management.
  • Startup mindset with a hands-on approach, personal responsibility, and ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-growing environment.
