Job Overview

This senior leadership role drives organizational growth for a nonprofit focused on disaster recovery, resilience building, education, and humanitarian aid. The position involves leading fundraising efforts to expand from a $20 million revenue base to $100 million annually by identifying, cultivating, and securing new funding sources while enhancing existing channels. It requires extensive travel to meet donors and partners in person and is performed remotely from a home office in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Architect and execute strategies to achieve transformational revenue growth.
• Systematically identify new prospects, initiate relationships, and secure major funding commitments.
• Leverage and expand an active network of major donors, corporate partners, and institutional funders.
• Build and optimize digital fundraising programs, including online platforms, peer-to-peer efforts, crowdfunding, recurring giving, and AI-driven engagement.
• Design innovative giving products and partnership structures to align donor interests with organizational mission.
• Travel extensively to meet donors, visit program sites, attend conferences, and represent the organization at high levels.

• Proven track record as a high-performing fundraiser with experience securing major new funding relationships.
• Strong prospecting instinct and proactive approach to filling the fundraising pipeline.
• Established, high-value network that can be activated immediately.
• Deep expertise in digital fundraising, including donation platforms, crowdfunding, and donor engagement tools.
• Builder’s mindset with a passion for scaling organizations and innovating donor engagement.
• Creative ability in deal-making and structuring win-win partnerships.
• Comfortable with significant travel, possessing strong in-person presence, confidence, and networking skills.
