Job Overview

Oversee and manage IT projects to ensure smooth operation of IT systems. Manage projects and programs, contribute to high-level portfolio direction, and build a PMO with documentation and process standardization. Participate in change management and drive adherence to processes using PMI principles.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute IT projects, ensuring delivery on time and within budget.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives, requirements, and deliverables.
  • Develop project plans, including scope, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Manage project budgets and ensure cost-effective resource utilization.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to implement network IT solutions.
  • Write detailed policies and procedures in collaboration with the security team.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Conduct regular status meetings and report project updates to key stakeholders.
  • Ensure adherence to project management best practices and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project success.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Master’s degree helpful.
  • PMP certification required; technical certifications helpful.
  • Minimum 3 years as Project Manager in IT-related fields; 7 years total Project Management experience.
  • 3 years IT services experience (negotiable); customer-facing experience.
  • Experience in adaptive and predictive project environments.
  • Strong experience communicating with stakeholders across all levels via multiple channels.
  • Experience gathering, writing, tracking, and managing technical requirements in complex environments.
  • Experience in Project Management teams, sharing documentation and process improvements.
  • Experience with quality tracking, management, and verification of deliverables.
  • Proficiency with Project Management software like Asana, Microsoft Project, or Smartsheet.
  • Experience with process mapping, analysis, and proactive stakeholder requirement management.
  • Strong ability to manage competing priorities and communicate with multiple stakeholders.
  • Exceptional relationship-building and collaborative problem-solving skills.
  • Strong knowledge of IT and Project Management principles, vulnerabilities, and risk management.
  • Excellent project management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive issue resolution, and ability to work independently or in teams.
