Job Overview

The Lead Account Technology Strategist engages strategically with customers’ business and IT decision-makers in the healthcare vertical to develop technology roadmaps, identify value opportunities, provide technical expertise, and foster ongoing partnerships to solve complex business problems for large healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

  • Develop strategic partnerships and build trusted relationships with customers, technical stakeholders, and decision-makers at senior levels.
  • Integrate with customers through regular communication and maintain relationships across all organizational levels.
  • Understand customers’ dynamic environments and create strategic plans aligned with their future goals.
  • Provide technical thought leadership, articulate industry trends, and serve as a trusted advisor internally and externally.
  • Orchestrate technical engagements and resources to meet customer needs, navigating various technologies and compatibility factors.
  • Overcome technical and competitive objections to accelerate sales cycles.
  • Assess product applications for business needs, demonstrate solution value, and ensure high customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations remotely or at customer sites to drive adoption.
  • Engage in continuous discovery, collaborate with resources like SAs, PSEs, and PMs, and adjust strategies as needs evolve.
  • Build complex, multi-product proof-of-concept solutions for sales engagements.
  • Manage customer concerns from licensing to product needs, coordinating with internal leaders and SMEs.
  • Conduct case reviews, anticipate issues, and ensure optimal customer environments.
  • Maintain records of interactions, use cases, and strategies in Salesforce.
  • Serve as an external spokesperson for the company’s vision and technologies.
  • Provide updates to sales and engineering management and contribute to team technical mindshare.
  • Present effectively at executive levels to customers and prospects.
  • Own or collaborate on initiatives like go-to-market strategies impacting sales areas.

Qualifications

  • Experience in strategic technical engagement with business and IT decision-makers.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare providers’ environments and challenges.
  • Ability to develop technology roadmaps and value propositions.
  • Proficiency in technical presentations, demonstrations, and proof-of-concept building.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills at senior levels.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce for record-keeping.
  • Knowledge of industry trends and ability to overcome technical objections.
