Job Overview

This part-time role (20 hours per week) supports the sustainable operation of university facilities by handling legal matters in real estate and insurance. It involves providing legal advice, managing contracts, and processing insurance claims to ensure compliance and risk mitigation for the institution. The position is initially for 12 months with an option for permanent employment.

Responsibilities

• Handle contractual matters focused on real estate law, including drafting and reviewing contracts, leading negotiations, enforcing or defending claims, and providing legal opinions.
• Manage insurance-related tasks, such as responding to inquiries, reviewing damage reports, and coordinating internal claim settlements.
• Address other civil law issues, particularly in property, lease, and construction law, including out-of-court enforcement of rights, defense against claims, and support for litigation through the finance procuratorate or law firms.

Qualifications

• Completed law degree from a university.
• Completed court practice and at least five years of relevant professional experience, especially in property, lease, and construction law.
• Comprehensive knowledge of general civil law with a focus on real estate.
• Preferably knowledge of insurance law and claims processing.
• Excellent IT skills, particularly in MS Office.
