Job Overview
Ensure the accuracy, governance, and integration of master data across finance processes. Maintain high-quality standards for customer, vendor, and GL data in line with ERP and global operating models. Safeguard process integrity, audit readiness, and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
- Ensure master data quality, governance, and integration across ERP processes, providing guidance and oversight to FSSCs and process owners, including defining and enforcing technical data standards and rules.
- Ensure master data (customers, vendors, chart of accounts, cost centers, items, etc.) complies with global data definitions and policies; maintain governance processes for creation, change, and deactivation; support harmonization across regions and functions; own and document technical data standards including naming conventions, hierarchies, and attributes.
- Partner with Integration Leads, IT, and ERP teams for seamless data integration between Oracle Fusion and other systems; monitor data quality and resolve issues with regional teams; develop reporting for accuracy and compliance; define technical data specifications including field definitions, formats, and validation rules; ensure consistency of data models and structures; support design and documentation of data flows, mappings, and transformation logic.
- Work with Integration Leads (OTC, STP, RTR, Billing) to enable standardized finance processes; provide expertise during ERP rollouts, migrations, and enhancements; conduct impact assessments of master data changes.
- Drive data quality improvement initiatives and automation; ensure adherence to internal controls, audit requirements, and compliance; support training and capability-building for regional teams on master data governance.
- Define and maintain data models, field-level specifications, and data dictionaries; establish data validation rules, dependencies, and business logic; ensure alignment between business requirements and technical data design; collaborate with IT to translate needs into functional and technical specifications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, IT, or related field.
- Data Governance or ERP certifications.
- 5+ years of experience in finance master data management.
- Knowledge of ERP systems (Oracle Fusion or other).
- Data governance and master data management skills.
