Job Overview

This role involves supervising mobile contract operations in building services, focusing on MEP systems maintenance, vendor coordination, and ensuring site compliance across Greater London and surrounding areas. The position requires hands-on technical expertise and effective communication to maintain high standards of service delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Operate MEP systems competently, including electrical isolations, and provide technical reports with improvement recommendations.
  • Ensure efficient completion of specialist vendor service visits, inspect work quality, and review supplier RAMS.
  • Participate in health and safety activities, including hazard reporting and toolbox talks.
  • Liaise with supply chain for ordering M&E components for remedial works.
  • Take ownership of sites to maintain show site standards.
  • Complete elogbooks PPM and reactive tasks within SLA.
  • Communicate regularly with mobile engineers, helpdesk, admin, and delivery manager via various channels.
  • Be available for overtime and out-of-hours call-out after probation.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience in building services environments.
  • Electrical or mechanical engineering apprenticeship or equivalent.
  • FCU servicing experience.
  • C&G Parts 1 & 2 or equivalent.
  • 18th Edition IEE Wiring and Installation (or 17th Edition with ability to attain 18th).
  • Understanding or proficiency in Simmtronic lighting control systems.
  • Emergency lighting testing, fault reporting, and finding skills.
  • Experience with elogbooks CAFM system or similar.
  • Excellent communication skills for all staff levels.
  • Proactive approach to high operational standards.
  • Proficient IT skills, including email.
  • Ability to work under pressure while remaining calm and delivering within time constraints.
