Job Overview

This role involves managing performance marketing for e-commerce clients, focusing on Google Ads and web analytics to drive profitable growth. You will handle a portfolio of clients with significant monthly budgets, working remotely with occasional in-person team meetings, and emphasizing strategic consulting with a limited client load for personalized service.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and optimize Google Ads and Microsoft Ads campaigns, including setup, steering, measurement, and optimization for client success.
  • Develop and plan high-profit performance marketing strategies using Google Search, Shopping, PMAX, Demand Gen, YouTube, and Display to increase client revenues efficiently.
  • Conduct regular client meetings to discuss progress, identify growth opportunities, and provide strategic advice, sometimes collaborating with leadership.
  • Analyze campaign performance through reporting and derive actionable recommendations based on data.
  • Monitor market developments to identify new opportunities for expanding performance activities.
  • Analyze client business structures, understand key economic metrics, and develop performance-oriented solutions.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of practical experience in an agency setting in performance marketing, with a focus on SEA or Google Ads (Search, Shopping, PMAX, etc.).
  • Practical experience in client contact from previous roles.
  • Proficient with Google Ads, Google Merchant Center, and Google Analytics; bonus for experience with Looker Studio and Google Tag Manager.
  • Customer-oriented, independent, structured, and goal-driven work style with strong service orientation.
  • Strong skills in data analysis and evaluation to inform campaign decisions.
  • Confident demeanor, poised manner, and excellent communication skills.
