Build and own a high-performance acquisition engine for top-tier clients in the proxy, VPN, or SaaS space, with a focus on the Chinese market. Collaborate with industry professionals to drive revenue through paid search, SEO, and native channels, leveraging autonomy and market expertise.
Responsibilities
- Develop acquisition ownership and growth strategy, including channel roadmap with target metrics.
- Manage Paid Search in China: structure, keywords, landing pages, budgets, bidding, and reporting.
- Launch and optimize campaigns on China ad ecosystems like Baidu, 360, Shenma, Toutiao/Bytedance, and Tencent.
- Collaborate with design and content teams for high-converting ads and landing pages.
- Define SEO strategy for China: topic clusters, landing page plans, competitor analysis, and keyword priorities.
- Partner with content manager to execute SEO and own outcome metrics like traffic quality and conversions.
- Identify technical and UX improvements to boost conversion rates and reduce drop-offs.
- Scale acquisition through native channels like Zhihu, WeChat, Bilibili, forums, and KOL collaborations.
- Monitor competitor positioning, pricing, and channel strategies; adapt playbooks to product and brand.
- Track regulatory and market changes impacting proxy/scraping marketing.
- Collaborate with Product/Dev for smooth user journeys in China, including payments and onboarding.
- Align with Sales/CS on ideal customer profiles, lead quality, and user feedback.
Qualifications
- Deep understanding of the China digital marketing ecosystem and user acquisition via native channels.
- Proven track record scaling performance marketing in China, particularly Paid Search or other paid channels.
- At least 3 years of experience marketing proxy, VPN, scraping, cybersecurity, developer tools, or SaaS (or related tech).
- Ability to build data-driven growth plans and run experiments.
