Job Overview

Provide support to field operations managers and area managers for operational matters related to subsidence field teams, ensuring excellent service provision, cost control, and management of people, training, and development in the identified area.

Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance and support to employees to maximize their potential in meeting demands.
  • Deliver excellence in reduced duration, cost control, and customer satisfaction.
  • Act as a subsidence champion and technical referral point, coaching and developing technical excellence.
  • Assist managers in addressing employee issues to ensure high service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Spend time in the field with subsidence consultants to troubleshoot and remove blockages.
  • Maintain technical skills and undertake a small caseload during busy times.
  • Collaborate with subsidence units, supply chain, and internal teams to improve the claims process.
  • Identify and monitor employee development needs and deliver appropriate learning programs.
  • Develop and maintain relations with internal and external parties to meet customer demands.
  • Engage with clients, brokers, and stakeholders to maintain and attract business opportunities.
  • Promote company ethics, values, and client insurance brands.

Qualifications

  • Chartered Building Professional (MRICS/MCIOB/CEng or equivalent) essential.
  • Chartered Insurance Professional or commitment to achieve relevant qualification.
  • Experience in team management, ideally with remote workers.
  • Detailed knowledge of building construction and insurance principles.
  • Demonstrated technical competence.
  • Detailed understanding of client requirements.
  • Understanding of people management, budgetary management, and resourcing planning.
  • Credible leadership skills to motivate teams and create high-performing culture.
  • Good technical skills and problem-solving ability.
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organization and time management skills.
  • Facilitative management style empowering employees.
