Job Overview

This is a strategic, customer-facing sales role focused on promoting and driving the adoption of robotics solutions. It requires a deep understanding of robotic technologies, strong communication skills, and the ability to align customer needs with innovative solutions. The role involves daily engagement with end users, system integrators, channel partners, application engineers, and product marketing to drive growth and improve customer satisfaction in the assigned territory.

Responsibilities

  • Drive business growth within assigned territory; meet and exceed sales goals.
  • Engage with customers to understand their challenges, requirements, and objectives; build relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Act as an advocate for robotics technologies, demonstrating benefits, software simulations, and ROI calculations.
  • Conduct market research on industry trends, customer preferences, and competitors; share insights with product marketing.
  • Monitor and nurture sales opportunities using CRM systems to accelerate closure; assess fit with company goals.
  • Provide technical expertise during sales, conduct needs assessments, and communicate value propositions using the consultative LEAD selling framework.
  • Develop and deliver presentations and demonstrations; collaborate on pilot programs and proof-of-concepts.
  • Provide regular reports on sales performance and conduct market research to drive market share growth.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in consultative sales with a focus on technical hardware and software solutions.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or related fields.
  • Prior experience selling robotics or similar technical solutions.
