Job Overview

This role involves driving seed-round fundraising for a tech startup focused on a social referral economy platform that supports community-driven commercialization and AI data verification. The position is part-time and remote, with compensation through commissions and equity.

Responsibilities

  • Broker shares in the private market for a privately held company based in Stockholm.
  • Assess business opportunities by analyzing team, technology, pitch deck, marketing materials, and financial plan.
  • Build and approve financing strategies for upcoming fundraisers.
  • Leverage network for investor reach-out, including managing zoom calls, road shows, and event participation in a bootstrapping mode.
  • Close the seed-round, starting with business angel money to catalyze launch and funding.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years senior experience in deal making, private equity, placement, investment banking, or corporate strategic BD/M&A, with proven success in startups.
  • Industry knowledge and passion in tech, AI, digital marketing, affiliate marketing, social community, and platform technology.
  • Ability to picture, sell, and drive innovative solutions and help partners leverage platform potential.
  • Experience in remote, decentralized global teams, especially in high-growth tech environments.
  • Degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field with strong experience in investment banking, VC, brokerage, or similar.
  • Financial independence for the initial 3-6 months, as retainer starts post seed-round.
