Job Overview

The role involves coordinating people and processes to ensure smooth customer transitions, enabling the operations team to support customers effectively. This includes managing the entire transition process using established frameworks, communicating with customers and internal teams, and minimizing risks to ensure timely and successful outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate people and processes to transition customers on time and support operations team success.
  • Ensure customer success through the transition process using the framework and processes.
  • Communicate with customers and internal teams following the Transition Communication Plan.
  • Create and execute project work plans, revising as needed to meet changing requirements.
  • Identify resources needed and assign responsibilities to Transition Engineers.
  • Manage day-to-day operational aspects of projects, scope, and resolve issues.
  • Apply the Customer Transition Framework and enforce project standards.
  • Ensure project artifacts are complete, accurate, and stored appropriately.
  • Forecast requirements, analyze variances, and initiate corrective actions.
  • Minimize exposure and risk to the company and customer during transitions.
  • Ensure timely and accurate invoicing.
  • Increase job knowledge through educational opportunities, professional reading, networking, and participation in organizations.
  • Enhance department and organization by exhibiting ownership and exploring value-adding opportunities.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of IT transition and/or project management experience.
