Vendor Management Student Assistant

Job Overview

This part-time student position involves supporting vendor management and procurement operations in a dynamic e-commerce environment. You’ll gain hands-on experience in purchasing, supplier relations, data analysis, and process optimization while working 18-20 hours per week remotely or from office locations in Germany.

Responsibilities

• Support procurement in daily operations, including creating orders, executing marketing actions, and ensuring product data accuracy.
• Communicate internally with stakeholders and participate in relevant meetings.
• Engage externally with national and international suppliers, gaining insights into negotiation discussions.
• Analyze large datasets and share insights along with potential actions.
• Manage small projects to optimize existing processes and provide constructive feedback on workflows and tools.
• Learn all aspects of procurement to qualify for an entry-level position after studies.

Qualifications

• Enrolled student in business administration or related field at a university.
• Hands-on, proactive working style with strong team player qualities.
• Ability to identify process improvement potentials and enthusiasm for optimization and new technologies.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Affinity for procurement, negotiations, and new technologies.
• Very good German and English skills (C1 level).
• Availability for 18-20 hours per week.
