This role involves driving revenue growth by selling enterprise software to large State, Local, and Education (SLED) accounts in Florida. As an individual contributor, you will focus on landing, adopting, expanding, and deepening sales opportunities while building relationships across client organizations. The position supports a remote work arrangement from any location in Florida and contributes to a unified security and observability platform for hybrid, multi-cloud environments.
Responsibilities
- Deliver license, support, and service revenue targets consistently, with dedication to numbers and deadlines.
- Land, adopt, expand, and deepen sales opportunities across the client’s organization.
- Explore relationships and business possibilities throughout the client’s org chart.
- Become a thought leader in machine learning and predictive analytics.
- Expand relationships and orchestrate complex deals with diverse stakeholders.
- Embrace channels to identify and open new opportunities.
- Provide timely input to other corporate functions.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of direct sales experience selling enterprise software to large enterprises or Public Sector in fast-growing environments.
- At least 2 years of recent sales experience with State, Local, or Higher Education customers in Florida.
- Proven record of exceeding quota in complex, solution-based sales.
- Must live in the Florida region.
Preferred Qualifications
- Subscription, SaaS, or Cloud software experience.
- 4 years of SLED sales experience.
- Experience applying partners, channels, and alliances to overachieve quota.
- Consistent track record of new business development and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong executive presence, polish, and excellent listening skills.
- Experience with target account selling, solution selling, or consultative sales techniques; knowledge of Force Management, MEDDPICC, or Challenger methodologies.
