Job Overview

The Account Executive drives sales growth by identifying new business opportunities and building long-lasting customer relationships through a consultative sales approach. This role involves managing the full sales cycle, ensuring customer needs are met, and contributing to team and company goals while adhering to safety and core values.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively prospect for new customers through direct outreach and networking.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships via trade shows, events, and regular visits.
  • Qualify prospects using company criteria.
  • Drive the full sales cycle from engagement to closed sale with support from the Sales Engineer.
  • Respond to inquiries, provide specifications, pricing, and quotes.
  • Host customer specification review meetings.
  • Maintain ongoing contact with customers and prospects.
  • Enter and update sales data in company systems.
  • Configure, price, and quote complex products like ambulances and medical equipment.
  • Perform inspections of used units for remounting.
  • Evaluate and respond to bids and RFPs.
  • Attend final inspections and delivery walk-arounds.
  • Follow up post-delivery to ensure satisfaction.
  • Demonstrate core values and follow safety procedures.

Qualifications

  • Results-driven with a hunter mentality and passion for consultative sales.
  • Strong ability to build trust, influence decisions, and create partnerships.
  • Confident and effective in fast-paced environments.
  • Skilled in active listening, asking insightful questions, and offering tailored solutions.
  • Experience in sales of complex products, preferably in emergency medical vehicles or related fields.
  • Proficiency in sales processes, including prospecting, qualifying, and closing deals.
