Job Overview

This role involves driving net new business for a global HR platform as part of the APAC Sales team. It is a pure hunting position focused on prospecting, qualifying opportunities, and closing deals with small and mid-sized businesses in Southeast Asia, with essential experience in Australia, New Zealand, and Japan.

Responsibilities

  • Meet and exceed sales quotas.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to close.
  • Identify new business opportunities and push through the sales motion.
  • Present services to prospective and existing customers.
  • Own customer relationships and complete the sales cycle.
  • Self-generate leads through telephone, virtual visits, networking, and industry events.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer success.
  • Maintain a clean pipeline of high-velocity opportunities.
  • Efficiently present information and answer client questions promptly.
  • Close deals while guiding clients through the process.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to initiate prospects, close deals, and achieve quotas for net new logos.
  • Experience selling into Australia, New Zealand, and Japan; preferable in other APAC markets.
  • Ability to confidently make calls to build pipeline.
  • Success in qualifying opportunities with multiple decision makers.
  • Strong problem identification, objection resolution, and handling of commercial/pricing objections.
  • Strong knowledge of sales processes and operational playbooks.
  • Proficiency in sales tech stack including LinkedIn, Salesforce, Zoominfo, LeadIQ, Outreach, and Clari.
  • Previous hunting or SaaS sales experience preferred.
  • In-depth understanding of global HR services.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
