This role involves executing field-level consultant engagement activities to strengthen presence within assigned consulting firms and territories. It focuses on building relationships with producers, account managers, and analyst teams, delivering messaging, identifying opportunities, and educating on product portfolio, differentiation, and value.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain recurring interactions with consultants, brokers, and office influencers.
- Conduct education sessions, product updates, and events.
- Maintain high-frequency market presence across assigned territory.
- Surface emerging opportunities, buying signals, and account-level context for Sales VP/BD teams.
- Ensure consultants are aware of offerings, product updates, pricing flexibility, and competitive differentiation.
- Support RFP awareness and influence during the buyer journey.
- Identify and source opportunities through Consultants and introduce to appropriate sales resources.
- Capture consultant perceptions, emerging competitor themes, price sensitivity, and ROI expectations.
- Report insights to Sales, Product, Marketing, and Consulting Relations leadership.
- Develop and maintain a territory plan aligned with priorities, event calendars, and relationship-building objectives.
- Coordinate activities with VPs of Sales and Business Development Team.
Qualifications
- 2 to 4 years experience in healthcare benefits, point solutions, consulting, or navigation.
- Experience working directly with consultants/brokers to sell or position employer healthcare solutions.
- Strong execution focus—ability to build relationships across multiple office types and maintain a high-volume engagement cadence.
- Ability to communicate current-state product, value story messaging, and performance metrics to external partners.
- Must thrive in field-facing work; requires 50%+ travel.
- Commitment to safeguarding company and member data in accordance with all policies.
- Strong administrative/technical skills; Comfort working on a PC using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), IM/video conferencing (Teams & Zoom), and telephones efficiently.
